The NY State Library currently provides free access to 14 online resources through the 
New York Online Virtual Electronic Library (NOVEL). This statewide program is funded by the 
Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services through a Library Services and Technology Act grant. 
The NOVEL collection of databases is available to all library patrons for in-library use 
as well as remote use from outside the library. 

Databases that are starred (*) are  NOVEL databases.
